Visitor - Carl Cooper Bishop of St David’s Resigns

Now that Carl Cooper has resigned as the Bishop of St David’s, the University of Sleaze Lampeter has to find itself a new Visitor. In that respect one of his first tasks will be to sort out the mess created by his predecessor who in my opinion colluded with the University Council to conceal the corruption of its officers and staff. See list of Council Members who in my opinion should be publicly named and shamed for failing in their duty towards the University. more »

Charity Act 2006
The two duties are separate legal entities and he cannot spend Church money on his duties as Visitor. Moreover, the congregation did not put money on the collection plate for him to unlawfully spend providing a safe haven for a serial abuser at Lampeter. For such is misuse of charity funds and false accounting which is a serious breach of charity law and one of several complaints that will be made to the Charity Commissioners under the Charity Act 2006. Following a full investigation the regulators have the power to remove charitable status from exempt charities such as the Church and the University.

New Bishop/Visitor to be Petitioned for Inquiry

The new Bishop / Visitor will need to address the complaints to the Charity Commissioners concerning the Rt. Revd. Carl Cooper and illegal expenses, the outcome could cost the Diocese and the University its charitable status. Unless the QAA closes Lampeter down first.
