Re: Liability of the Diocese of St. David’s
I would be grateful if you would resolve an issue concerning the diocese with regard to the legal action I shall be taking against the bishop unless the diocese wants to be named as a co-defendant.
The Church in Wales’s legal advisor Mr Anderson has quite rightly pointed out that the bishop as visitor to the University of Wales Lampeter is a separate legal entity to the bishop of the diocese.
Despite Mr Andersons advice and in keeping with the total disregard for peoples rights as well as the common and criminal law the bishop has written to me on headed notepaper and therefore as bishop of the diocese. His actions leave me with no choice other than to take legal action against him.
You will appreciate that under these circumstances I will also have a claim against the diocese as well as the bishop unless you issue a disclaimer stating that the bishop misappropriated and misused diocesan headed notepaper in his separate legal role of visitor to UWL and as such misrepresented himself and impersonated the diocese on these issues.
Will you therefore ensure that in future the bishop uses his own notepaper as a non-entity rather than somebody pretending to be important?
