In which case what the hell is the QAA for?

I complained about the situation at Lampeter to Mike laugharne the head of the Welsh Quality Assurance Agency (a misnomer if ever there was one).

The correspondence was as follows

Dear Mr Mayes

I acknowledge receipt of your e-mail.

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education has no locus in the matters to which you refer.

Thank you for you reply,

For my records, please confirm that as I have been falsely and deliberately accused of plagiarism that despite my complaint and call for an investigation to ensure that no other students have been also falsely accused. (Which seems to have been ignored) and as such may have affected their final degrees, that the QAA has no concern in this matter.

Recent condemnation of Lampeter by the QAA has I believe come about by individual inspectors reading my website and not as a formal attempt to address these matters.
